This 3 CEU event will take attendees through the general overview of how the implementation of behavior analytic services can be enhanced when incorporating RFT and ACT into the supervision process. Behavior Analysts often find themselves struggling with too many things to do, staff feeling too stressed or burned out to work effectively, and needing to teach the complex concepts of RFT and ACT to team members who unfortunately did not learn these concepts in school. Dr. Mark Dixon, a leader in the behavioral field and author of countless RFT and ACT papers and textbooks will dive into a range of supervisory topics that every behavior analyst will find of value. Learn how to screen staff to better determine their potential for success at your organization. Discover the most effective ways to speak to your supervisees with RFT and ACT language to help promote more positive work outcomes. Link staff verbal dialogue to client verbal abilities to maximize treatment adherence. Finally learn about how RFT and ACT can be helpful in taking care of yourself - and not becoming too entangled at work.
