Registered Behavior Technician (RBT®) 40-Hour Training Program – Based on the RBT Task List (2nd ed.)
This self-paced online course provides the 40 hours of training required by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board® (BACB®) to become a Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®). The program is based on the RBT Task List (2nd ed.) and covers the essential skills needed to deliver behavior analytic services under the supervision of a qualified professional.
Learners will gain knowledge and practice in measurement, assessment, skill acquisition, behavior reduction, documentation, professional conduct, and ethics. The course also includes at least three hours on the RBT Ethics Code (2.0) and one hour on supervision, as required by the BACB®.
This training does not qualify for continuing education units (CEUs) for BCBAs or BCaBAs. Successful completion of this training is one step toward eligibility for the RBT credential; additional requirements include a competency assessment, background check, and passing the RBT exam.
